Hey, Amanda here, and you’re reading my uncensored experience and what I really thought about live psychic phone readings.
Why am I writing this? Well, when I was thinking about calling up live psychics, there weren’t many real experience by people around, so I thought I’d write one quickly to help any of you who are in the same position I was.

But be warned, I’ll be going into both the good and the bad points, so if that’s something you might not want to hear, then you might as well leave now.
All of us have experienced some sort of confusion during some point of our lives. How did it make you feel? Lost? Insecure? Unsure? Lonely?
Shortly after my husband and I tied the knot, he got a promotion in the company and we had to move cross country. Both of us would be leaving not only the town we grew up in but our friends and family behind too. We were going to become strangers in a big city.
Realistically, we didn’t have to move at all. But a move would mean a bigger home, more money and a more comfortable lifestyle.
So I asked my family members and friends for advice. And as I predicted, they all wanted us to stay. I was literally lost. Did they really consider our circumstances or were their advice biased because they did not want us to leave?
I was in the grocery checkout one day when I found this ad for psychic readings and I was like “yeah right”. How could a stranger so far away have answers to my problems? How can a stranger help me while just looking at some Tarot cards?
But a part of me was intrigued. A psychic was a stranger. He does not know me. He would be objective, right? And at something like $1 per minute, it seemed like a good bargain for some peace of mind.
So I searched on the Internet for some “reputable” psychic reading numbers to call.
The first experience didn’t go too well. I had the feeling the psychic was just trying to drag the time by asking irrelevant questions and didn’t come close to being sincere about providing answers. I hung up quickly.
Not wanting to give up after just one try, I tried another website called Psychic Source offering psychic readings at an affordable $1 per minute.
This time I spoke with a psychic named Estelle.
Estelle envisioned a new adventure for me and my husband. She also told me that although the adventure would be full of “bumps and bends” she saw that due to my persevering personality and my husband’s caring nature, our family would turn out all right.
So to make the long story short, my husband and I moved. We got our measly belongings together and loaded it up our rented U-Haul and made the trek cross country together. Years after our “adventure” we were blessed with a son and after a couple of years our girl was born.
The Good
The psychics at Psychic Source know how to make their clients at ease. They have many ways of doing a reading such as astrology, numerology and tarot readings just to name a few. Their employ only the most qualified psychics that specialize in past lives, divination, clairvoyance and other “niches”.

Another good thing about them is that they have been in the business for around 20 years. This shows that they have a good reputation as well as good staying power. Their psychics are really gifted. This is also the reason I stayed with them, and called them often whenever I need any kind of unbiased advice.
As of this writing, first timers can purchase a reading for $10 for 10 minutes. There are no hidden or surprise charges as you have already pre-paid for the reading. They also give out free instant or email readings. Aside from these, they have an impressive roster of psychics, so you get to choose your reader.
The Bad
Initially, $1 per minute seems like a bargain. However, time has a way of going extremely fast when you talk to somebody on the phone. I would usually write down my questions, and keep a timer or clock close by, before making that call.
Though Psychic source is quite affordable, it is not the cheapest around. But I believe you get what you pay for. I know because the first bad experience was the cheapest I could find then.
Also, they tend to focus on spirituality, relationships and love. This is good, if this is what you’re looking for but when you need advice on say finances or career, they’re good but it’s simply not their strong suit.
My Advice
Bear in mind that not all readings are good ones. Remember that psychics tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear. Also, you’re paying these people for objectivity and guidance so don’t expect everything to go your way.
